Nepalese Community Center
Terms of Use
Effective 8 October 2026
Please read these Terms before using the shareholder payout portal. They set out what you can expect from us and what we need from you so that NCC can verify your shareholding and pay you correctly.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use (Terms) govern your use of the shareholder payout portal at https://nccpayouts.accountingsns.com.au (the Portal). The Portal is operated by S & S Accounting & Business Services (SNS Accounting, we, us) on behalf of the Nepalese Community Center (NCC).
By opening your personal link or submitting information through the Portal you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal; you can contact NCC or SNS Accounting to complete the process another way.
2. What the Portal is for
The Portal lets shareholders recorded by NCC confirm or correct their details, state their shareholding, nominate a bank account for a payout, give consent, and provide identity documents so NCC can verify them before paying. It is a record-collection and verification tool only. It does not provide financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing on it is an offer or guarantee of a payment of any particular amount.
3. Your personal link
- Each link is issued to one shareholder record and is sent to the email address NCC holds for that shareholder.
- Your link is personal. Do not forward or share it. Anyone with the link can view and change the details on that record.
- Links expire and may be revoked or reissued at any time. If yours no longer works, request a new one using your Record ID.
- You must not attempt to open, guess or access a link or record that is not your own.
4. Your responsibilities
When you use the Portal you confirm and agree that:
- you are the shareholder named on the record, or you are the parent, legal guardian or spouse of that person and are authorised to act for them;
- all information you provide is true, accurate, complete and current, and you will correct it promptly if it changes before the payout is made;
- any identity or address documents you upload are genuine, unaltered and belong to the person they are said to belong to;
- the bank account you nominate is one you (or the shareholder you act for) are entitled to use, and you have checked the BSB and account number carefully;
- where shares are held jointly or for a child, you nominate one account to receive the whole payout and you have the agreement of the other holder or guardian; and
- you will not use the Portal for any unlawful purpose or to obtain a payment you are not entitled to.
Providing false information or documents to obtain a payment may be a criminal offence.
5. Electronic consent and signatures
The Portal records your consent electronically, and typing your full name in the signature field is your electronic signature. You agree that this electronic signature identifies you, indicates your approval of the information and consent you submit, and is as binding as a handwritten signature, consistent with the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth) and the Electronic Transactions Act 2000 (NSW).
The Portal records the date and time of your submission. Your typed name is not a cryptographic digital signature, and we do not represent it as one.
6. Verification and review
- Every submission is reviewed by NCC's authorised staff before any payout is made.
- We may ask you for additional or clearer documents, or for a correction, and may decline or delay a payout until verification is complete to our reasonable satisfaction.
- NCC may contact you by email or phone using the details on your record to check information you have provided.
- Submitting information does not by itself create an entitlement to a payout.
7. Payouts
- The amount of any payout is determined by NCC in accordance with its records, its constitution or governing documents and the law. The Portal does not determine or promise an amount.
- Payouts are made by electronic transfer to the bank account you nominate. Payment to that account in accordance with your instructions discharges NCC's obligation to pay you.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the account details you provide. If a payment is made to an incorrect account because of details you supplied, recovery may not be possible, and NCC and SNS Accounting are not liable for the loss except where it results from our negligence.
- Payouts may have tax consequences for you. Seek your own advice; the Portal and SNS Accounting do not provide tax advice through it.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- access or attempt to access any record, file or part of the Portal that you are not authorised to use;
- probe, scan or test the Portal's security, or interfere with its operation, including by automated requests;
- upload malicious files or content that infringes another person's rights; or
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your authority to act for a shareholder.
We may suspend access to a record, revoke links and refer suspected misuse to the relevant authorities.
9. Privacy
We handle your personal information, including identity documents and bank details, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw the Portal or any part of it, and may change these Terms, at any time. The current Terms are published at https://nccpayouts.accountingsns.com.au/terms with their effective date, and your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Portal, including its design, text and software, is owned by or licensed to SNS Accounting and NCC. You may use it only to complete your shareholder record. You keep ownership of the documents and information you submit and grant NCC and SNS Accounting a licence to use them for the purposes described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, NCC and SNS Accounting are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or data, or loss arising from inaccurate information or bank details you supply, from unauthorised use of your link where you have shared it, or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of resupply.
Liability of S & S Accounting & Business Services is limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts competent to hear appeals from them.
